Star Wars is a series that has become essential for fantasy lovers. No one in the world of today can understand fantasy unless he has not gone through the whole series. Timothy Zahn in this twelfth book brings forward a new war that is bigger than before. The author does not talk about the already existing planets in the series rather he comes up with a new one. It is the world of Chiss which is currently being ruled by Nine Ruling Families.
These families have full control of the planet and they have maintained peace in their world from the beginning. This peace also serves well for the population which exists on the outer rim. Suddenly the exemplary peace gets disturbed when the capital of the planet is attacked by an unknown force. Someone from the outside world challenges the rule of the Nine Ruling Families and this could be the end of everything for the masses if the rulers prove to be weak against the enemy.
Thrawn is selected by Chiss to deal with the invaders. The young soldier is the best that the land has thus on his shoulders the burden of protecting the world is loaded. If he loses then the world had to kneel before the enemy.
If you like the character, then pick Thrawn (Star Wars) along with this book which will give you an enhanced picture of the soldier. Marc Thompson narrates in complete military-style because a big war is at hands and the forces from both sides are gathering on the rim for a showdown. One who will lose the battle will also lose everything that he previously holds dear.
