The 8th Confession
The 8th Confession is the eighth chapter of A Women’s Murder Club Thriller series. This is a suspenseful mystery thriller which is written by James Patterson. He has made an incredible amount of contributions in the mystery and crime thrillers genres with a good number of his novels. You will be impressed with his style of writing in Along Came a Spider (25th Anniversary Edition) novel. Moreover, The Cornwalls Are Gone is another top-class novel by the author that you must check out.
The audio narration of The 8th Confession novel is done by Carolyn McCormick. This was a mediocre performance as the narrator sounded almost the same for all the different characters of the book being played. A preacher dedicatedly speaking for the homeless was found brutally murdered. Cindy Thomas, a reporter knew that this story could be huge. She probed deep into the history of the victim and discovered that he might not have been as saint or good as everyone thought him to be.
Isa and Ethan Bailey were rich, powerful, and beautiful and were living under the spotlight as a perfect couple in San Francisco. But then, both of them were found dead in their luxurious home. The hunt for the murderers tested the skills of the Women’s Murder Club. That was the time when sparks started to fly between Detective Lindsay and her longtime partner, Rich. That made it excessively different for them to concentrate on the murder case…
The book comes with multiple plots and all of them will be very compelling. It could have been an outstanding novel in audio if it could have been narrated any better than it has been.
