The Cornwalls Are Gone
The Cornwalls Are Gone is a psychological crime thriller novel. It is the first chapter in Amy Cornwall novel series. The book is a product of James Patterson. If you have read any of his books before then that must be a mystery, suspense, or crime thriller. He has also written romance and nonfiction but nothing came close to the success that he gained as the writer of mystery and suspense thriller novels. Along Came a Spider (25th Anniversary Edition) is a very good example of his work and so is The 8th Confession.
The audio narration of the subject book is done by Lauren Fortgang and Edoardo Ballerini. They both are excellent narrators and their performance for this novel has been par excellence. Captain Amy Cornwall had exactly 48 hours in hand for committing a shocking and unspeakable crime. If not then she would lose her family forever. Amy Cornwall had a flourishing career while serving in the capacity of an Army intelligence officer. She was the one who witnessed many haunting sights at a faraway location. But, there was nothing as haunting as the scene within her Virginia home. It was all empty.
The phone bell rang there with a shocking and terrifying ultimatum – Find and liberate an unarmed captive and that too within 48 hours. If she didn’t do that then her abducted husband and 10 years old daughter will be dead.Amy Cornwall in the open defiance of the Army Command must look to employ every possible tactic that she had for saving them…
Everything is good about this book including its concept, writing, characterization, and narration. Highly recommended.
