There was an announcement that a competition will be held between the girls with superb talent and only one will be selected as the bride of Prince Maxon. Author Kiera Cass introduces thirty five girls in the initial stages and then the group keeps on decreasing in number after every competition.
The Elite group is now left when the story begins in this one and with America still in the competition, she thinks that she has a chance to win the heart of the prince eventually. If she wins the heart of the prince along with the competition then she is going to be the future queen of the land for sure. There is one little problem i.e America’s heart and brain are not working in the same direction.
On one side she thinks that she should try to win the competition to achieve her goal while on the other hand, her heart is pounding for Aspen who is standing guard over the prince. The Selection is there for the details and The One is also included in the parts. It is up to America to decide whether she should cash in on this golden opportunity or leave everything for the sake of one true love that she has found in her life.
The girl is sure that if she prefers love then she is going to leave the world of fairy tales behind which has been promised to her at the end of the competition. So it is all happening in the series narrated by Amy Rubinate. The game is on and the result of this story is uncertain because one cannot guess what America will do in the end.
