The second part of the “Fantasy Land” comes with surprises that not only surprise Circe Quinn but also astonish those who are listening to the tale. Circe was an ordinary girl who was living in an ordinary house and was happy with her ordinary life. One night she slept on her bed but woke up in another dimension. At first, she kept on thinking that she was in a dream but then the incidents in front of her eyes proved her wrong.
She didn’t know how she came to that land but one thing was for sure i.e there was no way of her return. King of Suh Tunak after having a glance at her quickly decided to make her his queen. The girl didn’t have the power to say no in front of Dan Lahn who has decided to start the Golden Dynasty with her. The marriage, circumstances, and the situation in which Circe found herself in were all just terrible.
Kirsten Ashley describes how her main character tries to get back to her original life but she fails at every attempt. Then after marriage, Circe starts feeling an association with the people of the land. Also, her husband who is a real barbarian starts attracting her towards him. It is Tillie Hooper who has received the chance to narrate this extraordinary love adventure.
Now the question which arises in Circe’s mind is that if she ever get the chance to return home would she be able to take that gigantic step. In Wild Wind and Sebring the characters just moved with the flow of the story. In this novel, Circe is not the routine type but her attraction towards her husband makes her take an extraordinary decision.
