Whoever says that he has not listened to the works of James Dashner then he is either lying or he has missed a superb chance to entertain himself. The author wrote books such as The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials for the fans and gave them an opportunity to enjoy literature up to the maximum level. Michael in this series started his mission to free the game world from a cyber-terrorist who has taken over everything.
The one known as Kaine has complete control over the game and it seems that he has some secret plan which he wants to implement in this gaming zone. One thing is for sure i.e if he succeeds in doing so then the game world will lose its entertaining nature forever. Michael started as a player in the game and his aim was to complete the Path after which he would get rid of that terrorist but at the end of the Path, he realized that the reality was something else.
Kaine was not a person rather it was a computer program that has come to life and now it wants to take the human minds as hostages. Whoever enters the game world will become a slave of this sentient and even after getting up in the morning, he would remain a slave of the program in real world too.
So Michael has to stop all of this before everything goes out of control as he is the only one who knows the real plan and he cannot wait for any backup. Erik Davies’ narration should be praised too because he has done justice to his work by all means.
