The Servant is an LGBTQ+ novel. It is written by Mary Calmes. She is from the USA and holds a degree in English literature. You will find her as an excellent writer of steamy romance and LGBTQ+ type stories. If you want to try something special from the author then try out her Old Loyalty, New Love novel. On top of that, Fighting Instinct is another brilliant novel that the author has written.
The audio narration of The Servant is done by Greg Tremblay. After listening to this performance, you will be in awe of the narrator for putting up such an excellent show. He is truly a rock star. After Daemon Shar saved the child of his young brother, he became cursed by a witch and ran far away from home. He was a stray who will never be anything more than that. But, destiny was quite hard to outrun. This was true even for a man who was a lot more than a man beneath his cowl and robes.
A chance battlefield amid a foreign lord, Ehron and him provided purpose considering all the darkness of this accused life. Very soon Daemon discovered that his real nature could never be corrupted, no matter whichever form he inhabits.
The plot of this book could have been a lot better and smoother if some country names, locations, and the names of some of the other characters could had been generalized. The introduction of such nouns in the book easily took a quarter of its run time. Apart from that, it is a well-written and well-narrated audiobook, which could be safe to try.
