Dragonriders of Pern have always remained famous in the world and then there was one white dragon in the lot that proved to be useless. Every dragon rider thought that it was useless and would never be of any use for anyone. Among those Dragonriders, there was one young man named Lord Jaxom who thought that the white dragon could be of many uses if trained properly.
Together the two started training in complete isolation and no one knew about their secret campaign. When the training ended and they thought that they were able to compete in open battle they set a high target for themselves. They started to fight against the silver threads that landed on Pern from the sky. No one before them dared to fight against the evil that has approached the land and now they started something big with their actions.
For this, they broke the rules of the land too but for a bigger goal, such steps are bound to be taken. At the start, the author Anne McCaffrey provides Jaxom and his dragon a lot of success in their missions and then they finally meet their doom. Dick Hill’s narration shows the intensity of trouble in which the dragon and its rider get stuck.
A new dragon gets introduced here which makes it a little unique as compared to Dragonflight and Dragonquest: Dragonriders of Pern. The training of the dragon has consumed a lot of time and after that, it is the only war that grows bigger and bigger in magnitude. All the time one specialty of this dream team is that it does not get scared of the danger.
