Underneath It All is a contemporary romance novel. It is the first book in The Walsh Series. The book is authored by Kate Canterbary. She is known for writing smart contemporary romance novels with good humor. You will have an awesome time with The Space Between novel of the author. The same could also be said about In a Jam novel by Kate Canterbary.
The audio narration of Underneath It All is done by Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers. The dual POV narration for the book has been quite satisfactory. Matthew was not known to have feelings. And he liked it that way. Between breathing life into the 3rd generation Boston shop of the architecture of his family, competing traditions, and keeping peace with his five siblings, he doesn’t have time for feelings. At least, that was the case until Lauren came into his life.
The beautiful blonde was not what he wanted. She was so much more than what the eye could see. Lauren doesn’t have time and that was turning into a big issue for her. Losing focus wasn’t something Lauren does with any kind of regularity. She had a checklist and to-do lists along with her action plans, which were supposed to be a mile long. She didn’t have distractions in her life and she doesn’t allow anyone to dictate to her what to do.
When she came out of a flight and ran into the arms of an architect, she gave into the distraction of one night only. They weren’t looking for each other but they found each other anyway. The story of Matthew and Lauren is amazing, and you will enjoy their chemistry.
