Unseen Academicals is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is a chapter out of the Discworld Rincewind novel series. Terry Pratchett is the author of this novel, which is available here in the form of an Audible original drama. He was a renowned English fantasy author and writer of comic books. He was also a satirist and humorist. In literary writing, you will be deeply impressed for sure with his Small Gods novel. The Shepherd’s Crown is another significant book that Terry has written.
The narration of Unseen Academicals is done by David Jason, Mathew Horne, Jon Culshaw, Jaime Winstone, and Josie Lawrence. The narration was mostly good. However, David Jason is one narrator out of these all who stood out with his excellent vocal performance.
Football found its way to the An-Morpork ancient city. It was not that old-fashioned type of fast football. It was quite different this time. The wizards at that time of the Unseen University must look to win their football match and that too with no use of magic. Therefore, they were all in the mood to try something special or unique.
The Big Match’s prospects were drawn within a street urchin along with an amazing talent that was required for kicking a can of tin. There were a few other prospects drawn as well including a maker of pies, a dim but extremely charming young woman, and the mysterious Mr. Nutt.
The audio dramatization of this book twisted the characters of the original story to the point that they don’t seem recognizable. The narration was all good. The overall experience with this book will be just above average.
