Stephanie Plum needs holidays for sure and it’s Christmas so everyone deserves some relaxation. This one agent has faced more toil than anybody else so celebrating Christmas in its pure sensation was the right kind of thing for her. The holidays have begun and the festive day is near but Plum hasn’t prepared for anything yet. She has not been able to find the right kind of tree for the celebration and the gift buying is just decided on a piece of paper only.
Without gifts, Plum thinks that it would not be the Christmas that she was hoping for at the beginning of the year and there is one more problem i.e her niece does not believe in Santa which is a heartbreaking thing for the entire family. Plum’s plans have been hindered because of Diesel i.e the one who has come to stay in her apartment.
Such things have happened in the past but Diesel is different compared to the other partners which Plum has encountered. He is hot and somehow Plum thinks that he could be perfect for her in a case linked to a toymaker who has recently come out of prison. Janet Evanovich continues the family drama along with the main story in the novel.
We observe characters like Plum’s sister and niece, and then there is the unique case of a grandma. Plum thinks that Diesel can help her at the family dinner too but surviving in front of such a family is not an easy thing. One for the Money went well at the same kind of speed and after a while, the author created another one with a master stroke with the name Going Rogue. Lorelei King has narrated most of these stories because of this issue the fans have started expecting King’s voice in the Plum series.
