Finnie was looking for adventures from the time she was just a little kid. Not only did she like adventures but her parents also encouraged her talent. Her expectations with life were high as she was waiting for adventures to come to her. Adventures came to the young girl but with the tragedy related to the death of her parents. Her parents died in a plane crash after which she had nothing else to do in life.
Then with the help of a witch she transported herself to a parallel world where her parents are still present. When she entered that new world she realized that she was tricked by her twin. Instead of her twin now she got married to Frey Drakkar who hated the twin of Finnie. Marriage took place in haste and Drakkar soon noticed that his wife was not the one he hated once.
Rather his wife was adventurous in her approach just like him. He arranged for Finnie the biggest adventure of her life after which she might be able to go home. Kristen Ashley paints the bigger picture excellently in her novels, Dream Spinner and Wild Wind were full of strange things as well.
Dragons, magic and magical creatures also get loaded here to the maximum. Finnie was looking for adventure all her life and when she finally gets the adventure she thinks that she has wished for too much. Tillie Hooper does not waste an inch in narration. The end of the story according to many was the obvious thing but the narration and continuation in the story is surely appreciable.
